-40mm springs (Apex) I think are the lowest you can go on springs & shocks.

It will shorten the life of your shocks though

Any idea of the life expectancy of shocks on OEM springs and then on Eibachs for example? Looking to make the change soon  :happy2:

Rick

Mine was lowered on -35mm H&R springs for about 17k miles (from 40k to 57k miles) and by 57k miles it was ready for a set of shocks

^^^ So it would be ever so sensible to change your shocks when having new springs fitted. If your car has 50k+ miles I'd replace the shocks, otherwise they'll likely go reasonably quickly and you have double the labour.
