Title: worn headlight, buy new or refurb?
Post by: samdem on January 20, 2013, 06:18:11 pm
Hi all,

I haven't got any pictures unfortunately but i'm sure most of you will be able to imagine a headlight thats looking pretty worn and eaten away by heat.

Its just the drivers side headlight for some reason, but would you bother buying and new one or simply buy on of the polish/ refubs kits from halfords?
Im not much of a DIY man so i was wondering if many of you came out with good results if you have ever had to do it?

Also if you were to buy another headlight, where would you get it from?? ive seen a few on Ebay but im not sure if theyre just crappy copys or the real deal.

any links provided would be great!

Thanks a lot!
Sam.

when i bought mine they were £100 each from the dealers so hopefully you should get one cheap on e-bay

ah cool, well at least now i know a base price! i may enquire at the dealers anyway to see what they say.

I'd like to upgrade to some xenon style ones but id prefer to just get one of these for now.
