This guy knows what he is doing as well.

Give them a real one to play with :rolleye:
-
Unless it's changed you're not allowed to go inverted in a real one.
-
amazing skill, I wonder how many crashed before he got the hang of it
I doubt you could get a real one to do that
-
Amazing. :notworthy:
But I now have the urge to buy a 4 channel 'copter. Thanks Ian...

I think you'll find proper ones are more than 4 channel Rich.
Get one of these. http://www.heliguy.com/Electric-RC-Helicopters/Trex-500/Apache-AH-64-Trex-500-ARTF/ (http://www.heliguy.com/Electric-RC-Helicopters/Trex-500/Apache-AH-64-Trex-500-ARTF/)

True but 4 channels is enough
-
I don't think you can do those stunts with only 4ch.
Prove me wrong if you must.
-
For 3D heli flying you normally need minimum of 6 channels (preferably 7 or 8), I have tried it myself (With small amount of success) and when the heli is inverted you have to ease OFF the throttle to maintain altitude, its a very hard to do (my heli was about 100ft above gorund when i first tried it) :signLOL:

No you cant ian... i wasnt saying that! :P
BUT you need 4 channels to fly a copter up down, side to side, forwards backwards and rotate. I.E how a normal helicopter would fly.

Rich - go big or go home. :P

:scared:

Oh yes.
When I were a lad my Dad had 2 petrol engined model boats both about 4 ft in length. One a cruiser type that would quite easily sit out of the water on the prop and another deep V offshore racer style that was blisteringly quick. Bit much for the local boating lake really.

This was at Waddington Airshow last year and not civilian. Although I have never been in a helicopter, I don't think I would like to go upside down in one :signLOL:
Some cool videos though :happy2:

Why the hell won't my £10 copter from Argos do this!?!?????
I'm going to write a strongly worded email to the CEO and demand £8000 compensation.
