Title: vw extended warranty
Post by: Andy on July 09, 2009, 06:53:06 pm: been looking into getting the extended warranty on my car-does anybody know how much it is!

i realise that Tc but they shut at 5.30p[m and i don't finish till 6pm

Now its not as comprehensive as a warranty and you do have to pay a Ã‚Â£50 excess on any claims but then it only costs about Ã‚Â£70 for the year and they will cover any breakdowns / issues you have as long as you call the AA out on your breakdown assistance.

You can take the car to any garage you want and they will pay the first Ã‚Â£500 of any bill. Even covers A / C compressors :wink:

Anything engine / suspension / gearbox etc is covered as long as you have a service history. Seems good value to me...
