Looking to lower my gti on a budget and came across these.. I'm guessing there rubbish due to the price but was just wounderin if anyone has had any experience with them?
Also if I was to go for these would they be ok on my standard shocks? (2005 reg 78k miles)
Thanks, Craig :)

Spend an extra £30 and buy some Eibachs. I've never heard of the brand in the link, stick with ones recommended on the forum :happy2:
Don't ruin a fine handling car with cr&p lowering springs. :scared:

I no what your sayin about ruinin the handling with crap springs which is why I thought I'd ask first, I understand eibachs are good I had them on my vxr but they don't lower enough :/
Thanks for the reply.

H&R springs are slightly lower than Eibachs. I was happy with the H&Rs on mine.
I think Apex do -40mm springs but your shocks wouldn't last long. You may be best saving for some AP coilovers if you want lower than 30ish mm.

Yeah I was thinking coilovers but need to save for them and thought these springs would do for the time bein :/ need to learn to be more patient haha.. No point in wasting the money on them springs as I could put it towards gettin my wheels refurbed :) thanks.
Where's the best place/price to source ap's?
Craig.

If you go for the Eibach Sportlines they are around a 40mm drop compared to the standard Eibach springs which are around 25mm, have these on my car and the drop is spot on.

Sportlines are about 30ish mm. Certainly not a true 40mm drop. I don't even think Eibach advertise them as a 40mm drop

Have you got any pics?

Not sure then on the drop as the website suggested 40mm drop, maybe that was for the lower spec model which share the same springs?
Ride height was spot on for what I wanted, just need to get the Bilstein B8 shocks to accompany....
