Hi guys its been a while i thaught i would try and start a build thread first attempt :)
I just purchased a golf mk5 gt sport 140 bhp version well its been a few months of ownership this was to replace my mk4 gti anni

(https://www.mk5golfgti.co.uk/forum/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fimg.tapatalk.com%2Fd%2F13%2F01%2F27%2Feta3e3yt.jpg&hash=8e7205711fa8cb0139a72ac068d8f3d56cb81627)(https://www.mk5golfgti.co.uk/forum/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fimg.tapatalk.com%2Fd%2F13%2F01%2F27%2Fmajy3a7u.jpg&hash=d6cda5bf0ecf298b87c5ac1abda6c104dfb33ce2)

The first modification had to be to replace the standard rcd300
 I got a rcd510 so fitted that

(https://www.mk5golfgti.co.uk/forum/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fimg.tapatalk.com%2Fd%2F13%2F01%2F27%2Fpymepede.jpg&hash=031ae16295e616a8121983303a29207ba4cc89e2)
But then i found a rns510  so fitted that and also found a armrest in leather
(https://www.mk5golfgti.co.uk/forum/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fimg.tapatalk.com%2Fd%2F13%2F01%2F27%2Favyhe5yq.jpg&hash=906219344df1c424cc25aa75ab0da07fd0bffc20)
Also fitted media-in to go into the armrest and also genuine phone prep which is very handy.

I then needed to give the car a full clean
Wash, clay , polish then waxed with AG hd wax

Then i finally got my private plate transferred over to the gt

Then the turbo started to whistle so i renewed the turbo for a brand new genuine vw turbo

After having the turbo replaced i thaught it was time to get the car remapped which makes the car more fun to drive

any reason why your photos aren't the right way round???  :stupid:

You should replace the intercooler too, I replaced just the turbo, 9 months later I had to replace it again because there was sh*t in the intercooler pipes.
