Has anyone got a solution on how to mount a camera to record the speedometer? (without holding it!)
I was thinking of getting something like this but I think it'd be too big to fix onto the steering column? Any better ideas?

Doubt it will work... The surface is not flat and the camera will fall after no more than a couple of bends (it it even stays up that much).
I tried a similar path for my GoProHero 2 (much much lighter than a normal camera) and I could not make it to work.
But, I did manage to make it work by putting an adhesive mounts on the steering column. I think this the best solution, if there is such an adhesive mount available for your camera (or universal one but made to work for your camera).
Here is one of my videos of the dash so you can see the results:
Best of luck!

Ah okay thanks! This looks like it would be pretty perfect, but far too expensive and not from the UK!
