Title: 3M Products
Post by: swgti on January 29, 2013, 09:19:44 am
Anyone ever used any of their cleaning stuff or waxes etc? See there's a 1/2 price sale on their website.

yes , just placed an order to Give my xenons a freshen up. £8.33 for the kit and £1.35 for some 20 mm diameter Blue masking tape.

Has anyone used this kit?, Video looks like its not bad VFM

Yeah apparently the headlight kit is very good, someone had a review on here a month or so back. Placing myself an order for one asap, pleased I didn't buy one off Amazon last week for £20.

Was wondering what other stuff was like as it's well cheap in that sale.

Did anyone else order the interior wipes and tyre shine?  I think both products leave a lot to be desired.
The interior wipes are very greasy, requiring another cloth to buff out.
The tyre shine is pure white which is a bit of pita to work in.

I know they are more expensive, but in comparison the Meguiars Tyre gel and interior wipes are much better products.

Not that long, they bought them last year maybe.

My friend is reasonably high up and does all the 3M/Meguiars liaison in Daventry(?).

Not sure about all that so take it with a pinch of salt :signLOL:
