Title: Steering rack mk5 golf 1.9tdi

So the car needs a new steering rack. Rang up the breakers and asked them if they have any in stock. They do and asked me if it was a 3 or 4 stud. Neither of us new which one was the right one.
Do any of you guys know?
It's a 1.9tdi mk5 2005 6speed golf.

I'm stuck in work at the minute and can't check. Mot is on Thursday so need the part today before 5 when they close.

Any help is much appreciated

Can you not ring vw parts and give them your reg ? Would of thought they could tell from reg/chassis number which one you need and part number
