Title: Advice on which House Phone to get??

Am after replacing our old BT Synergy 4100 triple set (with answer phone). Been a few years since I looked at phones, any advice on what's what and what to avoid or the best one to get.

Panasonic ones. Really reliable. well made, clear & loud enough for even my mum to use. They take AAA rechargeable batteries, would have preferred AA like everything else. How picky is that  :wink:

Siemens by far, then some Panny's are pretty good.

Siemens. I have a SL400A which has been discontinued now, but this just means it can be got cheap now...

Those Siemens although expensive are the nicest handsets I've seen and used.  I've got some colour Panasonic ones and although nice, with colour screen, loud ring tones etc.  I find the menu systems a bit crap... Tbh, I find that on Panasonic TV's too.  If I was buying again it would be the SL785 from Siemens.

Siemens are good. We've got a twin set and they work flawlessly
