Title: Service reminder

Been getting my in car service reminder when starting my eddy for a little while now. Started the car this morning and it was telling me it was due in 4900 miles. Started my car again this afternoon to come home from work and it says 'service now'. Can anyone put any light into why it has now decided I need one now and no longer have 4000+ miles left?

Probably set to time and distance and - your time is up . Check your last service date and it will coincide with the day your Computer told you it needs doing now . Well thats how i think it works  :innocent:

Yeah my 12months are up. Clever little cars these vw's aren't they!  :surprised:

I'm on variable servicing and when my reminder starts it shows a mileage and day count down. Its an either, or, situation. If you haven't covered the mileage before the days count down then the service now beep will start then.
