Hi All,
Can anyone recommend a garage that offers 4 wheel alignment at a sensible driving distance from Coventry?
Thanks in advance.

COG. are very expensive. It would be cheaper to call AKS and book it in with Alex.

Will also drop Alex an email
Thanks

I would say yes... if you have 38 way adjustable coilovers and want it corner weighting to a 1000ths of a gram. But... for a solid 'basic' alignment then AKS or TTSRoadsport.

Cost me just over £200 to have my rocco done a couple of years back.

Was that for normal 4 wheel alignment? If so that an absolute rip off!!

I put a bit of a write up of what was done in this thread http://www.mk5golfgti.co.uk/forum/index.php/topic,4918.30.html
For the quality of service and the very noticeable improvement I was quite happy with the price and I'll be using them again this year or next after I've had my next set of suspension upgrades done for a slightly more aggresive set up.

I've had a couple of alignments in the past, one with a reputable tuner. My front camber from them was half a degree out between the wheels, -1.5 on the right and just over -2 on the left. They said it was fine although I wasn't totally happy with it.
Alex did mine a couple of weeks ago and got it bang on. He spent quite some time on it including moving the subframe to get everying right. You tell him what you're after, he'll discuss with you/recommend and align accordingly. My eddy now handles like a dream and that's where it will be going next time it needs one. :happy2:
