Title: Zolder alloys - tyres and wheel nuts
Post by: gsgti on January 31, 2013, 02:20:14 pm
Bought myself some zolder R32 alloys. Does anyone know if my standard wheel nuts from my gti will be ok to use (the alloys are genuine VW ones)??

Also any thoughts on tyre sizes. Was thinking 225 40 18 but I know the wheels originally had 225 45 18?? I drive on quite a lot of rough roads / farm tracks so maybe 45's would be more sensible??

Any thoughts / experiences welcome  :happy2:

Genuine wheels always use the original bolts,if they were replicas they might have their own special bolts,225/40/18 would be the original size.
