Yikes, I like them, but don't think they are worth a grand... don't think they were that new in the options list... I know the leather ones we're silly money, but £1k plus standards.

....Even the Interlagos cloth Recaro's were about £2,000 as a VW factory option (which stopped in 2007). I didn't order them on mine in 2005 but bought some later for £1,100 without any swoppsie.

No regrets - Quite the contrary as they are very comfy (passenger can sleep more easily) and very supportive when making progress.

Personally I wouldn't buy any car with leather seats - Too slippy and can be awful in hot summers.

If you get some you'll have to dial out the airbag warning as they don't have any.

@RR: Didn't know that, thought they we're less... learn something everyday.
Re: Leather, yeah I've had a few motors with full leather, and they are cold in the winter and sticky in the summer... half leathers are decent.  But Fabric or Alcantara definitely has the edge for ass gripage!

@ camfollower:

Agreed - Alcantara favourite of all. Half-leathers like the Ed30 are quite good but wouldn't work so well on proper Recaro's.  :happy2:

I love mine

I would love to get mine re-trimmed into something different but my brother has alcantara on his seats and its worn quickly and gone really bobbly!
