Time to say bye bye to the Mk6 GTD and welcome my new company car :driver: :driver:

328i M Sport with lots of toys. To say the BMW is a setup up in terms of technology would be an understatement. So far I really can't any find any fault with the car.
Features the new N20 BMW engine which is a 245ps 2.0 turbo. Soon to be tweaked with a nice exhaust, a map, some springs or coilovers and some better brakes

Can't wait to see it in the flesh buddy! :congrats:

That, 'I love Volkswagen' tattoo on your arse cheeks is going to be embarrassing at the Christmas Doo now. :signLOL:
I never thought you would be prized out of a VW. :popcornsoda:
-
Yes but doesn't Mrs P still have a VW?

I know, it's felt very strange going to a BM dealer on Friday to collect this :signLOL:
With the Mk6 gone and the Mk5 going this week I am down to just the Mk2 Golf now :surprised:
Edit - And as Mr H says Mrs P also has a VW too

YEEEESSSSSSSSS.
Did you not spec the M-brakes? Job jobbed. You can surely retrofit them.
Have you got the iPhone app that lets you unlock the doors and set the climate and stuff? Get it.

It was a dealer demo otherwise I would have speced the M Sport brakes, but your right I am sure it's possible to just buy the parts
Yep all app'ed up, just waiting for the registration of the ConnectedDrive to be completed so I can get my user name and password :fighting2:
-
Forgot the MK2. :ashamed:
-
Not bad for a company car

Nice motor mate, my Bro has a '62 plate 530d as a company car, the whole motor is quite impeccable tbf. BMW really have pushed things on. I love the variable suspension settings.

So it needs to sound better, go faster, handle better and stop better, but apart from that...
I really can't any find any fault with the car.

Love that, awesome colour too. :happy2:
-
Great looking car, another defector to the dark side................

Brakes and other shiny bits (http://www.bmw.co.uk/en/topics/owners/accessories.categoryId=ManufacturerAccessoryCategory1.html)
Prices have gone up a fair bit, the previous generation brake upgrade was £900. You'll get a fair bit off at a friendly dealer, or try www.bmminiparts.com
-
Yep.... I like that. :happy2:
-
Looks awesome Steve!! :happy2:
-
Lovely colour, the new front ends are slowly growing on me.
-
That engine is supposed to be fantastic, nice car :happy2:
-

I can't believe it another defector.
Its almost always BMW's you know.......................cutting in on the M25 to M4 Junction after I have queued up for fifteen minutes :signLOL:
-
Very nice Steve!! big tick :happy2:
-
the new 3-Series is very nice. BMW styling is so hit and miss. I wasn't a fan of the old 3- or 5-er but the new ones are lovely. I loved the old 1- and 6-er but hate the new ones...
happy motoring mate
-
Very nice Steve

What a great idea, we all get a little insulated from the outside motoring world sometimes unless we go looking.....
Good job BM
