Hiya guys was thinking of replacing my rear pads this week at Some point just wondered if there's anything I need to keep in mind whilst I'm doing it? It's on my 06 2.0 gt tdi
Is it a straight in and out? Or does the park brake play a part in the removal ie do I need a special tool
Cheers for any heads up

You do need a wind back tool for the piston, you can grab them from eBay ~£10. This is the one I bought, and it works fine:

You don't need to touch the handbrake cable on these. :happy2:

Use the wind back tool or you'll get a caliper bill!
