dealer, beware if buying 2nd hand

The RNS315 uses SD cards that are one use only.

Emailed seller asking, how can you sell cd when RNS 315 have to be updated only through SD card?

and here is reply received

Insert the disk in your satnav with SD-card inserted. The satnav will ask if you want to install the data from CD to SD.

Sound like they are talking about RNS310 from what I understand. It stores maps on the SD card.

Spoke to him again, and he confirms that will work with RNS315. But if I upload maps bought of him, I will loose rest of my western europe already installed on unit. It will have only UK&Ireland maps. Very strange, i think i am going to miss on this one.
