Title: Interior trims mk6 into a mk5???

Hi guys can anyone please confirm, I have been offered some black mk6 interior parts, my question is will these fit my .mk 5 golf are the sun visors, interior lights , grab handles , A post trims all the same any info would be greatly apprechiated thanks

Arent the mk6 front grab handles diagonal compared to the mk5 horizontal ones?

The pictures of both look pretty similar can't really see any big differences even the light fittings look the same.

The roof parts might fit. The rest I highly doubt it.

From what I have seen of the two cars side by side, the front and rear have been changed and everything else has remained the same in terms of chassis. If you have the parts to hand try fit a piece of trim on as they look spot on.

 I have all the trim pieces from the mk5 just thinking about the roof liner and maybe the front light unit it may be worth buying 1 just to give it a try. I just wondered if anyone had tried this before http://www.mk5golfgti.co.uk/forum/Smileys/newsmileys/laugh.gif

I have fitted grab handles from mk6, they fit no problems. I didn't check part numbers but I don't remember much difference.
