Hey all,

So, I'm seeing vRSAlex This coming week... Getting a few bits done and just out of curiosity does the rev G DV sound different/better than the D? I assume I have the original one fitted to my car when manufactured, revision B maybe?! Sounds good at the mo but just wondering...  :smiley:

They should both sound exactly the same and that should be silent :wink:

If your revision B is making a noise it generally means it's split :happy2:

Oh really?! lol... Damn I like the blow off sound... I will see the state of mine when it comes off. On the plus side the new one should hold more boost!

From new my gti has always made a whoosh when letting of the accelerator. However after fitting the revision G I would say its slightly quieter now. But only by a smidge.
