Hi all
I have some ingrained oily stains around the oil filler cap on my engine cover , what can I use to get these out as it is spoiling the look under the bonnet? Normal hot water and washing shampoo doesnt touch it. Any ideas?

Autoglym engine and machine cleaner works for me every time on the whole engine bay, removes grease, muck an oil etc. spray on, agitate an rinse off.
Then once rinsed off apply autoglym vinyl and rubber care still with engine bay wet an leave to dry.
Gives superb gloss finish on all plastics in engine bay.
Both available from halfords or cheaper on eBay!
Hope this helps
