I have seen a few cars with metallic blue exhaust tips a few GTR's for example and quite like the look of it, Is this possible to do as a DIY job or is it done in a different way?
Here is a example

I believe it is all to do with having titanium tips, as it turns blue one it is exposed to extreme heat, (see JonnyC's MK2 TT exhaust)

I have the r32 style tips atm from blue flame, I don't want to really change my exhaust system for it, just wondering if there's any high temp metallic effect spray available for exhausts
-
shouldnt imagine so mate... the effect is achieved by heating the metal so it would be very hard to replicate cosmeticly.

Blue tips are because they are Titanium.

I dont like the look of them, reminds me of max power! I like the black tips though!
