Title: what size torx

went to fit some coilovers today and didnt have the right size torx for the front strut where it fits to the hub anyone know wat size torx it is so i can order one and fit th fronts.

It's a m14 splined bit (triple square)

will order one up then and fingers crossed it goes to plan this time was thinking bigger than a m14 but i will take your word for it thanks for the quick reply fella

It's much bigger than 14mm don't think they are named after their size in mm.

Don't get a long one like I did as you will need it again if you plan on changing the rear discs and the long one was aquard.

You might also need a m8 splined bit to stop the ARB links nut spinning.

pretty sure i have got the m8 torx i have a few different sizes upto m12 and bloody typical need the m14 lol

It's not torx, it's spline (triple square) as said before.

Halfors do a set for £22 which are good and short.

Most places will sell you a franklin one on its own which may do this job buts way to long for back brakes.

I had my franklin one machined shorter

found a short one on ebay for £6 and comes with 2 so cant really go wrong
