Chaps
Sounds a bit silly but how on earth do I tell when the next service is due??? I know it was last done in March last year at around 53K and I'm not on 60K.
I have completed an intermediate oil and filter change with Mobil 1 ESP 5W30 VW approved and that has massively reduced the oil consumption.
I was planning on taking it to VW in March as it would have been a year. The car has comprehensive VW warranty so I don't want to cause any problems. It's only an oil change service which on their fixed price menu appears to be £149 all inclusive (I'll knock it back further by supplying my Mobil).
Does the Jetta have a service indicator? If so, how on earth do I access it?!
Many thanks

If it's like the golf then when in the driver sest long press the mileage reset button with the ignition on and you should be presented with the days and mileage to next service.

Thanks!
Do you mean ignition at point 3 i.e. lights on dashboard or just the 1st click??

Jetta might not have this feature, all depends on the instrument cluster.
