I've not used those, but I bet the Kent ones I've got aren't too much different:

They've been very good; so much so, I have 3 now.
Also grabbed one of these recently...it takes the majority of the water off before using the drying towel:

Be very careful with those blades. If anything gets stuck between the blade and paint work... :fighting: I see the £5 wash lads use these near me, quick wipe on the jeans and then over the car :scared:

Thank you for your comments :happy2:
I agree Horatio , those scrapers could cause some damage!

this might have been better suited in the Detailing section mate. for drying my car i use Demon Shine then blow all off with a leaf blower. works remarkably well

It was just a general 'what do you make of this'. Never thought about using a leaf blower :rolleye:

Thanks for the info. Ive bought the two from the ebay link. Il see how good they are. Most likely better than the ordinary small microfibre i was using

I use Waffle clothes for "patting" dry the car. Just got a couple of new ones, they're very VERY good (but not cheap).

I started using the ASDA ones last year. £4 for 2 Not the best quality but does the job and survives the washing machine
-
The soft blades shouldn't cause any issues, as you should have washed the car properly, thus zero dirt on the car. ;)
I've got a few of those towels. One side is fluffier for heavy soaking then the reverse is for a second wipe removal.

My local detailer calls those blades 'Weapons of Mass Destruction!'

I tend to sheet the water off the car which means very little gets left behind. Don't get on with plush drying towels as they seem to smear water everywhere or leave tiny fibres behind. Hence now use waffle weave towels.

+1. Works a treat.
-
I use the kent extra large microfibre towels as well. Nice and cheap and two of them is just right for a good clean finish. Also won a car magazine group test for drying cloths.
-
I use the Halfords Advance waffle weave ones!

I use the Meguiars Water Magnet. Works really well and can really hold some water :surprised:
About £12 though from Halfrauds
-
I use either Auto Glyms Drying Towel or Meguiars Water Magnet Towel. Both work well but I usually sheet the water off with an open ended hose then just dab the remaining bits dry.

I use these

I bought a Turtle Wax waffle weave one from Halfords , I think its part of the Ice range? Its blue anyway and does a great job , very happy with it.
