Title: Mk6 MDI and iPhone 5

Does anyone know how to connect an iPhone 5 to the mdi in a mk6? Plugged in through the USB and it just says device not supported  :confused:

I have an apple lightening to 30pin cable and it works with the VW iPod lead in the MDI.

Knowing apple I'm guessing they aren't cheap  :laugh:

£30 for a Lightning adapter when they came out, probably the same now.

Don't buy a clone, they just allow charging and not audio/video transfer  :happy2:

Yup still £30 :happy2:

I bought the cable adaptor as the block one was a bit cumbersome and I had to take the phone out of its case to plug it in.

With this connector can you use the steering wheels controls etc?
