Hey all,
Right, so I have fitted my LED rear lights (despite dropping one of the screws down the carpet :scared:)
Now, to the next guy they will look fine, but, I notice they do not sit right, is there a cure for this? I have tried tightening/loosening the bolts to see if that makes a difference, and slightly yes but they still don't sit quite right i.e. too high tomapred to the other or too deep compared to the other side, so the lights dont sit flush... help will be appreciated!

Any clear pics of the problem Reece?
I had to do a fair bit of fettling to get mine just right. I have a boot pop so that makes the inners look a tiny bit proud compared to the outer units.

I'll go and take some pics Martin, thanks.
Ah right I see... Well I have ordered a new bolt from VW, 79p... cheapest thing I've even got from them... Yeah Might have a little fiddle to see if they sit any better :happy2:

Think I sorted it with a bit of persuasion, still a little little bit out of sync but I can deal with it :signLOL:

Are the foam seals on the inner lights ok? They can be poorly fitted which means the lights will not sit flush.

I Have not checked to be honest mate but thank's for pointing that out, I remember now had that prob with your lights you bought didn't you... I Think they're sitting ok now, I think naturally the lights will never be 100% symmetrical in seating but as good as I can get, bloody OCD... :signLOL:
