Title: Help need a new battery
Post by: winrya on February 23, 2013, 01:51:50 pm
Well after 8 years it seems my battery has had its day and needed jump starting this morning.

Where is good to pick up a battery?  I've found this one at eurocarparts and is £79 with discount.  Is that any good and correct for the car?

This one is cheaper with better specs but are Exide batteries any good?

Cheers all,

Ryan

I always use the Bosch silver ones - maybe a bit more expensive, but way better unit & 5 years warranty!

They've got it for £91 with 5 year warranty.  That a good price?

Cheers

yeah - pretty decent fpr a bosch Silver - Halfords would charge you about £130 for the same one.

This is the bosch siver one I got from euro car parts. Slightly exceeds the OEM gti spec, which is better than some of the other boschs which are slightly lower.
Costs a little more, but I got mine for £75 after using there discount code!

I always find checking these out as they tend to offer some really good deals and are OEM.
