One to record (on the same time as top gear!)

The story of the rise and fall of the de havilland comet aircraft, the worlds first passenger jet airliner, it was originally considered a triumph for the post ww2 british aviation industry but within 2 years 2 planes had blown up mid air killing all on board.

Saw a similar documentry on this years ago a fascinating story of how we had a jump on the americans for jet airliners (we were years ahead) and how it all went wrong and the resulting testing to solve the mystery at the time sowed the seeds for air crash investigation today.

I don't see how as my box says last night was it's first screening.  :confused:

Maybe a was a different documentary that I saw then!
