VERY nice mate, bet you're itching to grab it
how much plastic in the engine bay?
-
Very Nice, 123?
-
Its a 135i M Sport Coupe. I ordered it with no model designation as I think it looks better without the badges on the back.
-
stunning motor - 135i :happy2:
3lite twinturbo kicking out 306bhp, clarkson rates this as the best bmw they do and just as quick as an m3 in 1/4 mile and handles better.
would like one of these next
-
Stunning! 1st mod pedals & foot rest?
-
This is what im after next! I love them! Yet to go out in one or drive one tho!
-
Verrry nice. :happy2:
Just give it to a tuner now for 350+bhp
-
Lovely motor matey, spotted one in the petrol station the other month and they sound brilliant.
Are they the BMWperformance seats? Not sure what their called but they look very similar Recaros.

Ah should have noticed it wasnt drinking the devils juice from the rev counter :embarrassed:
Very nice, went to have a look at one before I got the ED30 but was that little bit more expensive and the Eddy suits me better.

Thanks for the positive replies guys :happy2: I test drove a LOT of cars, and was almost about to give up and keep the GTI, but once I test drove the 135i that was it. Sounds great, pulls like a steam train from just 1300 rpm and is a great drive.
Its not quite the same model, but Kermit likes it :driver:
-
I like alot but I still can't help but think they are a bit of a chicks car? Sorry dude I'm not dissing your car it's got a monumental engine and Im sure it goes like stink, but it's a bit dinky!
I've driven ALL BMW's but this one so maybe a blast would help with my misconceptions?
Anywho, enjoy the car and can't wait to see some nice pics after you've detailed it! Is the Batcave ready for her?

Serious bit of kit  Any mods planned? :happy2:
-
looks smart. any plans?
-
I love these.
Very jealous.

I went for this as its just the right size for the roads where I live,(especially width-wise). The 3 series is too big, a friend has one and his wheels are wrecked as he has to go up the kerbs a lot.
This is the perfect balance of power and size for my needs :happy2:
Ok so as for mods, BMW do a performance range now, where you can get the parts fitted by your local dealership, and still keep the full BMW warranty, which I think is a great idea.
I'd like to get a carbon fibre (Hurdy would like the amount of carbon stuff they do) front strut brace, performance air intake kit and the performance exhaust. BMW also do a power upgrade, which gives you a more powerful fan, extra radiator and a remap, but its no way near as powerful as the JB3 that you just fit yourself..... :rolleye:

They do a great short shift gearstick as well... might have to do a LOT of overtime methinks!

Hi bud.
Picking it up tonight from the dealership, and the bat cave is almost finished!
I'll do a detailing write up when I get my hands on it, and a garage build thread soon, but after a lot of driving the new motor :happy2:

Thanks JPC :happy2:
Well picked it up tonight, and very pleased with it indeed. Had forgotten how it pulls as its been quite some time since the test drive. Sounds fantastic, feels really light on its feet (if that makes any sense) and pulls like a train!
It really does needs some Zaino loving on it, I turned down all the dealerships "special £399 lifetime special products", and although it was nice and shiny and swirl free on collection it had a lot of holograms and wax residue on it
Hopefully it'll go into the bat cave this weekend and get some serious attention. I'll do a write up as well, it just depends if I can get the keys off the wife as she absolutely loves this car
If you do get a chance to test drive one of these, go for it, they really are something special.
I'll have a look at DMS Automotive, thanks for the advise :happy2:
