Post by: Cupra R on February 27, 2013, 09:28:16 am
Anyone going to the track day this Sunday at Donington Park?

I wouldn't mind going if I can get the time off.

Ah. Nice one, I wouldn't be on my own :-)

Neil, would it be possible to leave a jerry can in the garage and maybe a couple of other little bits and bobs?  I wouldn't mind chipping in for the privilege.  :happy2:

I can lend Rich a Hero 3 but have no suction mount. Has any one got a suction mount he can borrow?  :drinking:

Also Matt, do you want me to pass a US plug adapter to Rich? I don't think I can make it, got family visiting after returning from the sandpit

Fantastic.

What a great group of lads to meet.  :happy2:

Weather was great if a little cool. Plenty of track time, even though loads of incidents (from others might I add)

The full GP circuit is really good. Couldn't believe how fast the track is.

Donington was as good as I'd imagined  :happy2:

Good stuff.   Donny is on my list to do this year. It is just a bit too expensive in the summer. I am hopefully going to do one of the evening sessions up their.  :driver:

Did Neil M's boost pipes stay on for the whole day.  :popcornsoda:

Ha. That's one of the reasons why I booked it. Full GP circuit. Always wanted to do Donington (done it on two wheels) good price and the weather forecast was good.

Yeah, he didn't have no probs with boost pipes. Ask him about a pheasant though.

Hi Lads, had a good day at Donington, even managed the whole day on one Cam Follower   Although, I did take out a Pheasant coming out of McLean's, little F@#ker cracked my carbon bonnet!!

Some footage just about hanging onto the back of Shaun's epic motor, and getting caught up in The Italian Job, sorry Rich only got a bit of you at the end of the straight, sounds great though  :happy2:

Thats a bummer Shaun, you going for the same set up?

Just ordered Millers CFS 10w50 NT change of Oil and new pads all round, and so it beings  :happy2:

Got to take her for her 'special' MOT Monday, fingers crossed.

Cheers rich , thats it unfortunately having to pay is the killer! Think im going for same rotors neil as they have lasted a lot of abuse to be fair and been really good! Then im changing the pads to possibly go with project mu endurance which will be an excellent choice and last even longer. :happy2:

Are the Mu's a lot more expensive Shaun?

If you do try them out, I'd be interested to know your thoughts.

Although, I was very impressed with the Pagids on Sunday  :happy2:

You any videos uploaded yet?
