Title: Canbus gateway needed!

I've recently purchased an rcd510 and have been told i need a newer canbus (L or later apparently) so the unit will work properly.

If anyone could recommend someone who sells them I'd be grateful as I'm not keen on paying 'stealer' prices!

If want to fit a mdi kit as well it's the best time  :happy2: I have a few left

Looks like my RCD500 may be buggered so will look at the 510.
Seen post re current drain on older models, Mines late 2007, ho do i know if it will be affected?

Scan your car with VCDS to get the part number or physically dig your way to it and see what the label states. You *might* have an L or above being a later 2007.

It's a diagnostic cable made by Ross Tech.
If you ever need one then loads and loads of members have them, as they are expensive (but worth it).
