Title: Shark fin aerial exact location???

Hi guys I have a genuine vw shark fin aerial to fit to a golf with no roof aerial, I'm looking for the exact location measurements as to where the aerial should fit in order to drill the hole, if anyone has the diagram or could kindly measure there aerial that would be great many thanks

no I did this to my old Golf

I must have measured it 5 times before i drilled the hole

i think it was about 100mm from the edge of the car body

Thanks ed still building up the courage to do , thinking of changing the roof lining so seems like a good idea to do it then.
