Title: Tyres - quick question
Post by: Panthera on February 28, 2013, 06:39:03 pm
I need to replace my front two tyres (currently running Dunlop Sport Maxx Ft and Rr 225/45/17) and I want to know do I need XL or not.

I am thinking of getting Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric 2.

Thanks

Darren

I just had these fitted 2x for £199 fitted.

All I can say is wow. I hardly get any spin where Michelin pilot sport 3 I used to get some spin in first and second.

You will be impressed

There is another same thread going on at the moment asking about xl or not. Personally I would say go for xl. That's what I have on my 18" goodyears and I think that's the correct spec.

I use XL and I feel if its designed for extra load is surely a 'stronger' tyre!
