Title: Refurbing a Remote Key ?

Is it possible , have done it with a Mercedes Key buy never a VW

Seen this on ebay and they appear to have sold lots , but can you change over all the electrical/key blade from the old one to this one ?

Yep everything is interchangeable, however they are poor quality.

I made up a full remote spare from scratch and have this, only happy with it as it sits in a box for emergencies.

You'll need a tiny punch device to knock the pin out that holds in the keyblade.

I've got an original ed30 key unused you can have for a donation to the forum plus postage, you could swap your parts into it?????

Whats an ED30 key ? If its new i'll have it , £10 to include postage ?

Think they are the same as any other key, but its from my ED30 that met a bitter end at only 8 months old. where are we posting it to? I'll get a price for that and we can go from there  :happy2:
