Evening guys & gals.
Not been on here for quite a while now unfortunately. After a plethora of issues with the GTI and planning/decorating for a baby I just lost all interest with it and eventually it got to the point where a three door was no longer going to be practical. Car needed new tires, tax and MOT so I advertised in on a whim at a reasonable price and it sold in a few days. As it drove off I remembered how beautiful the MK5 really is and began to regret my decision. Until that is, I bought the new motor
Not got any good photos yet but here it is in its current state:

Clearly a BMW (320d M-Sport) but I'm hoping you guys will let me stick around as this forum is by far and away the best I've been on, regardless of make or model.
Plans:
Remap - done already
Blacked out kidney grilles - ordered
Smoked rear lights - booked in
Hertz stereo upgrade - still deciding :popcornsoda:

very nice :happy2:
what kind of power did you achieve with the remap?

Beautiful motors, the 3 series BMW. The new F30 is fantastic. I sandwiched my 2 GTI's with BMW's - my last being a 330d M Sport (E90). If the truth be told, I've been looking at either PCP'ing the new F30 or buying a E90 again. I'll need a bigger car by the end of the year, as the we're expecting our 2nd child and, unfortunately, it looks like the Golf will have to go. My old one was a 2006 - so it was just a year or so too old for the LCI model (the one you have) and I think they still look very fresh - despite the new models on sale now.

Ban him for buying a car with no indicators!

Hahahaha. Contrary to popular belief, BMW's do come standard with indicators. Unfortunately some of the people who drive them, and a lot of other cars, do not have the spare mental capacity to breathe, steer and indicate at the same time.

I shall not be a typical, arrogant and partially blind BMW driver, lol!
Remap is a reported 215bhp and 310lb/ft or torque. Not had it on a rolling road but it does feel pretty rapid to be fair. Just getting used to a different driving style though.
