Title: Fan Parts

Hi,

My Gti seems to have developed the super loud fan issue which i understand to be because the small one has died, do i need to replace the entire fan unit (both fans) and if so does anyone know how much this will cost becasue i may buy the part and either fit it myself (doesnt look too hard??) or get a local independent to do it,

Hmm - if it's like the old MKIV problem of the resistors burning out, you'd be better saving your money and buying a fix kit. Took me 3/4 of an hour and fixed my old ones a treat.  :happy2:

Thanks for that, i guess the danger is its not the same issue, I would guess the fans arent much more than £100 ISH?
