				Hello All,

I am new to the forum so first of all I would like to say hello!

I am very keen on purchasing a Golf MK5 GTI, which will be a slight upgrade to my current Renault Clio.

I have trailed Gumtree, AutoTrader, Ebay and Piston Heads for possible cars and have not found many within my price range that I have liked.

I have also looked on the 'Cars for sale' section here, without much luck.

I have a maximum budget of £7500 or thereabouts for a nicely kept, smart golf mk5 gti with low mileage (60 - 70k)

Do you know of any other sites where I could look?

 Cheers
 George

I personally would just keep an eye out on all of the above sites. You don't want to rush into buying a car... and the right one will pop up, I garentee. It's the same with parts... Just waiting, being patient and looking all the time really does pay off  :happy2:

				Hello and welcome

 What is your location?

This site is excellent for well loved GTI's for sale.

Here's one over your mileage, but under budget  :happy2:

				Many thanks,

I am in the Hertfordshire area and would be willing to travel if the right car came a long.

I have seen the car in your link and it is an excellent example of what I am looking for, something about tornado red GTI's that set them apart and that one is in very good condition. I am keen on purchasing a car with lower mileage though.

Are there any other sites similar to this one with a classified section you know of?

Pistonheads can be an expensive place to shop   As said take your time and take a friend :happy2:

				Welcome along!  :drinking:

You can't go to far wrong from looking (and waiting) for the right one to pop up on this forum. I wouldn't hesitate buying from a fellow member with a decent history on the forum as you can see their previous posts and (if they have had one) thier own thread in Members Rides.

IMHO Ignore peeps trying to sell a car with around 25 posts to their name as they are only on here to sell a car. Buying from a forum enthusiast will generally get you car that's been well looked after and maintained above and beyond the required amount.

 Happy hunting.  :happy2:

				Thanks for the reply guys!

I think biding my time is the way to go with this then.. I'll be checking this website frequently as the ones I see advertised here are a lot better than ones I have found elsewhere.

Red - Do you have any more photo's mate, interior etc. Where you located?

 Cheers
