Post by: scopes on March 06, 2013, 10:24:29 pm
Hey Guys

what do you find is the best for removing polish of or buffing the car up nice and shinny  :happy2:

Eurow - Shag Pile Double Density Towels
http://www.cleanyourcar.co.uk/microfibre-cloths/eurow-shag-pile-double-density-towels/prod_436.html?added=436

or

just micro fibre cloths, I do use the shag pile ones, just wanted to know if there was anything better out there...
I find the shag pile towels nice and soft towards the paint work  :innocent:

Also what about washing the cloths after use, even your wash mitts/drying towels after using them?

Chemical Guys - Microfibre WASH+
https://www.cleanyourcar.co.uk/index.php?_g=co&_a=cart

I have used this before, would just like to hear what other folk use?

I've used those towels before and not really impressed. Standard microfibre is fine. Once the wax is buffed off I'll go round again with a dodo buff daddy.

With the MFs, I'll soak them in hot water and the microfibre wash for 30mins, then chuck them in the machine with a liquitab and some white vinegar.

I use the cheapest ones and try and avoid optical brighteners and perfumes but that's becoming harder.

I use Microfiber Madness Crazy Pile towels. Expensive, but excellent for buffing off polish, wax, sealant etc.

Polished Bliss had a 3 for 2 last month so stocked up then.

Costco do about 30 clothes for 15 quid. they're great and cheap enough to be disposable
