Hi all,

Brought my Golf GT TDI 170 end of January. Thought it was about time to create a project thread  :smiley:

I had a 1.6 SE FSI before this and the difference is unbelievable! Ive fallen in love  :love:

Perforance + economy = WINNER

The first thing i brought was my Pressed Plates and Plate surrounds - Really like these  :smiley:

Wanted coilovers BUT.....I live down a VERY LONG and POTHOLEY drive  :fighting: and the car is a daily for work.

Really happy with the noticeable difference in handling but not suffering with ride quality to much. It actually sits ok....obviously i would love to have it lower but still happy  :grin:

Got 15mm spacers from Andy “Banham” on here  :happy2:

Need to order longer bolts and get these on. Also need to order 12mm for the front!

Need to get some different/better photos up but will do asap

There are only one or two suppliers of legal pressed plates  ive had the ebay ones which come to bits.  I then used http://www.dubmeister.co.uk/ (http://www.dubmeister.co.uk/)

Little update

Got bolts for the spacers so will get these on this week. Also just ordered black front and rear VW badges

Next on the list is:

12mm Front Spacers
Ed30 Rear Valance
Rear Lights
Side Skirts
Front Splitter
Get all these sprayed

Then at a later date

Wheels
Engine bits (Remove DPF, EGR delete, turbo pipes)
Re-Map

Will get pics of the spacers on at the weekend

Looks nice bud, going in the right direction with it too! They are great cars, I love my GT Sport :driver:.

Iv changed quite alot over the last few weeks and need to update and put photos up. Went to Elemental VW Show on the weekend and mate is sorting through some awesome photos this week.

Wheels were supposed to be here this week but have been delayed til next week now  :fighting:

Been waiting ages but I suppose another week won't hurt.... :party:

Carbon wrapped my pillars afew weeks back, don't think iv done much else recently. Got a Gti rear valance last week so that's in for spraying as we speak  :wink:

So after a very long wait iv finally got my new 3SDM 0.06's  :love:

Had them a week but slack to put them on...also spent a lot of time waxing them  :signLOL:

So got my GTI rear valance on the other week and it has transformed the rear end.....now need to get GTI front splitter to get the front looking better

Little update:

Looking for a GTI front splitter/spoiler at the moment. I don't really wana buy new...so if anyone has one get in touch  :happy2:

We ( VAGLOGIC ) had our first meet on Sunday which was good so will get afew pics up of that

Going to MOP it in the next week or so as paintwork is swirly as f@&%  :fighting:

Then Service at the end of the month  :smiley:
