Title: Anti roll bars, drop links and Coilovers.
Post by: Samu on March 10, 2013, 12:10:03 am
I purchased a GTi today, was wondering if I will need an upgraded ARB?
If lowered over a certain height does the ARB rub on the driveshafts?

If so, what ARB and drop links do people recommend?

Thanks!

You dont have to replace them when using coilovers, not sure if your going AIR however

With air the ARB needs to come out.

Only reason I ask is because the MK4 GTi's ARB used to rub the driveshaft when really low.

Yeah i know what you mean about the mk4's, older polos had the same issues.

I have no knowledge of AIR and didnt know you take the arb out lol

it can stay in if you make a custom collar to fit on the air ride struts to mount the drop link and also use shortened drop links.
