Title: Clutch judder
Post by: gazon69 on March 10, 2013, 02:06:07 pm
Hi guys. Recently got my car back on the road which has had a brand new sachs uprated clutch. When holding or reversing at slow speed i get a really bad juddering and the stench in horrendous. Does it just need wearing in or is it something else.

It's normal. Have had Sachs on 2 cars now both the same.  Bed it in for 500-1k miles then it'll calm down.

Mine's never juddered when I had mine fitted but they did say my dual mass flywheel was shot so had a new one fitted at the same time and also there was some confusion with regard's to which way round it was to be fitted, mine's bedded in well and I still have to get it remaped as soon as the weather get's better.
