Title: help 50 or55mm strut ????

Ok ive got a mk5 1.9tdi and was told all tdi's have 55mm struts so bought some nearly new 55mm ap coilovers ...but now ive been told I might have 50mm struts ....anyway of finding out ? Tried vw and tps but they don't know ?? Any help appreciated

1.9 tdi should have a 50mm strut

They will be 50mm only the gttdi was 55mm

Yep ..measured them today so I have 50mm hubs ....so might be selling my ap coilovers as be just right for gti/tdi
