Title: F/W 5218 - Failed on a RNS510 version C -Why?

So after 2 days of burning DVD's and downloading links, I finally got a couple o versions of firmware to work/load.

But when I tried going from 3810 to 5218, it loaded fine (see pictures below ) but when the unit restarted it had no sound at all, not on radio, phone or media no sounds at all, apart from that the unit was working fine.

So had to roll it back to 3810, and everything is back up and running fine.

So what reasons could there be for no sound on the 5218 firmware ???


I would like Radio text, so I think I need 4120 firmware, is that correct???

may need to set it up using vcds.

4120 has radio text included.

Tried everything on VCDS, that I could think of, and still nothing.

I think it also has to do with Canbus module Old vs New? What do you think?
