My car has been very sluggish at low revs over the past week or so. When high up in the revs, it still feels quick but at low revs it feels breathless and as if something is holding back the power. I've checked the dv and its the revision g with no tears and the pcv is working as it should (engine sounds rough and chucks when oil cap removed). Looking around the pcv valve their is a small amount of oil over the surrounding area but I don't know if this is considered normal or not so have put some pics up below. Anybody got any ideas what else it could be?

Anyone?

Is your car remapped? Most Ed30's don't boost till around 2200rpm on?
Is it turbo lag your experiencing?

Standard car. No it felt much faster a few weeks ago. The turbo is much more noticeable when coming onto boost now.

Could be a sticking actuator or boost leak :sad1:
May be worth a trip to a specialist?

Thanks.
I'm having a mate plug it into vag com for a full scan tonight. Is there anything in particular we should be looking at to determine any potential problems? I know that you can record the measuring blocks ...
It's still under warranty so, if the worst comes to the wort, i'll have to take it back to Arnold Clark :(
Also, has anybody got any comment on the oil around the pcv? Not anything to worry about?

Did a vagcom scan, no fault codes logged but checked some meas. blocks. Air intake temperature is sitting at 34 degrees at idle with outside air temp at 6.5 degrees. Car had only been idling for less than 5 mins.
Is this too high? Could it possibly be a faulty MAF sensor?

Try disconnecting the MAF ?

Yeah, it was fine apparently
Verdict: I'm just getting used to the car :( A mate who's very knowledgable of cars and vag cars drove it and checked a few things and he says its working perfectly fine. His car is a Leon with similar power and he said it felt very similar to his. He also says I should map it lol.
