What do you lot reckon to this?

It looks identical to the Forge one but less than half the price.

I've had it fitted for 6 months without problem.
One of the best mods I've done to be honest.  The gear change, IMO, was utterly woeful before I had it fitted.

I have this fitted. It didn't push fit over the splines the way the oem one does - I had to use a spanner on the retaining nut to fit it. I will only be able to remove it with a puller tool which I don't possess.

However it doesn't matter as I won't be taking it off, because it's a great mod.

TTS shifter is similar price from your local audi dealer.

And is it definitely a shorter throw than standard GTI one?

Does anyone know if theres anything else i need to order while on the phone or does it come all ready to go?

Just spoke to an Audi guy.  He said its gonna cost me  £465.dont think he quite understood what i was saying  :signLOL:

So im also on a part number search

The part number is in this thread off the Skoda forum if you want to confirm with Audi.

its a couple of years ago, but i had 8J0 711 046-B on my vRS.  there might have been some supersessions since then.

its nowhere near the gaitor - its a part that fits on the end of the shifter cables on the top of the gearbox.

Don't forget to upgrade your shifter bushes (to 42 Design ones) while your at it, makes ALL the difference. :happy2:
