Can anyone upload the latest firmware software to my rns 510 unit or any ideas of places I could go to get this done I'm based in Essex

Im based in Walthamstow, East London.

I could come out to you for the update.

Just need some more information, What firmware you are currently on, What version unit you have (LED or LCD), what firmware you would like?

If updating from a very low version, you would need maps installed too. I can do this as well. (Version 9 maps with speed cams)

Hi Raz walthamstow isnt too far from me im unsure what unit i have and i want the latest firmware availabe i think sorry to be vague what would you recommend my car is a 2009 mk6 gti if this helps

Try holding down the setup button for 10 seconds.  A secret menu will appear if its activated.  It should tell you what fw you are  on.

If not then you will need it activated through vcds which I also can do

Tried holding the setup button down and just get a list sayin fm am dab so I presume this needs unlocking too if think it would be better if I get you too do all the things we have spoken about any idea of what it will cost me and when you are free to do it

I travel all over the uk for map and fw updates.

However I do come up once a month to Nottingham to see the in-laws.

I'd be interested on updating my RNS510 to the latest firmware... the stow is just up the road from me... can you pm me info pls mate.... :happy2:

Can you let me know what the prices are for updating the firmware etc please? I believe I have ver B (08 plate with nav from factory, cannot access the setup to see what I have currently, just tried it)
