Title: Anyone in cambridge area to help fit rns510 into 2008 golf?

 Just need help fitting the unit. I am not sure if my gateway needs updating or not for my 2008 golf?

my 2008 gt tdi was fine.
give it a go yourself, buy some trim removal tools, watch you tube videos, take it slowly, if you wake up the the battery is not drained, all is well :drinking:

Thanks guys - I was hoping you would say this :) I will give it a go and post up pictures of me doing it :)

As for the Bluetooth kit. Is it easy enough for me to do this myself too? Or does this get tricky?

you did'nt say anything about no bluetooth kit  :signLOL:
if its already fitted, then its just a case of quadlock out of old and into new. There might possibly be a couple of pin changes, but my parrot was ok.

Yes I havent purchased it yet but looking to get the official VW one fitted with audio streaming. Not sure how easy these are to do, as the car hasnt had any bluetooth fitted before.
