When swapping instrument clusters is it only the skc from the original unit which is required and can only vag commander extract this. Will the main dealer provide the key for a fee?

they can get the skc for you as well. Might be cheaper just to get or go to someone with vag commander.

Plus it depends on what clocks you currently have, as vag commander doesnt read all clocks.


You may need the SKC for the new clocks as well.

Am I right you live in Durham area?
If so what reg is your car or do you know your current part cluster number, I can backup your immo/grab SKC if it's the earlier system.
