Are the power gains similar to a mk5 k04 gti? Thought there maybe a little advantage with the tsi engine.
Any thoughts welcome :happy2:

K04 on a mk6 gti with tsi engine will give superior results than with a mk5 gti tfsi engine.
-
Close to 370 BHP possible.
Should also be cheaper as the stock fuel system is good for the tune unlike TFSI...and no cam follower worries :happy2:
EDIT: DV relocate not required either unlike TFSI KO4 conversion.

MK6 GTI - TSI Engine 'EA888' and Golf R/Edition 35 TFSI Engine 'EA113'.

So does the ihi turbo sit between the k03 and k04 in terms of performance then?

The IHI is actually smaller than KO3 but the TSI head flows better, it also spools quicker being smaller.

Interesting, Statllers told me the IHI is basically identical to the K03
