Title: Looking to set up OEM bluetooth kit to my newly ordered RNS510
Post by: hatts on March 21, 2013, 04:47:08 pm: I still need to buy the Bluetooth kit and wondered how easy it is to set up. Whether it will be plug and play with my new RNS510 version p or if its gonna need additional coding etc? Any advice much appreciated.

Also does anyone here have the latest Bluetooth OEM kit for sale?

Post by: brookesb32 on March 21, 2013, 06:20:01 pm: I know for definite that the 5k0 Bluetooth kits are plug and play for everything but voice control I believe - as I have one fitted with my rcd510 and also fitted to a friends rns510 and it worked as soon as plugged in.

There are different versions - some others show on the highline dash etc

I write that because if you buy a kit with voice activation you might need additional coding.

Otherwise just tick 77-telephone in the gateway and it will see it, all of it takes minutes anyway

You can just get a plug an play loom - soo easy as it just plugs on to current loom - drop EddieNL a pm - he is the guru and will be able to advise and perhaps supply (I bought Bluetooth module box elsewhere but got loom from Ed)
